Classic training for a future bag lady, Dolly...

Well someone needs to stand on roundabouts in a stained nightie and mac to shout at the traffic.
You can probably get an arts grant from the council for doing that round your way.
Only if you're waving a Countryside Alliance banner and wearing a Boden nightie as you traffic rant.

I take it this has nothing to do with webcams and premium rate phone numbers?
Quote: EllieJP @ September 9 2009, 7:49 PM BSTI can't just watch TV, I have to sit on my lap top and waatch it.
Doesn't that crack the screen?
Zooo beat you to that joke.
Quote: Leevil @ September 9 2009, 7:44 PM BSTI didn't use the internet as much as I have since signing up to this place. I seem to have developed a kind of dependency on it. No longer does TV keep my hold as much as it did. The same interactivity isn't there. I've found I have become more fidgety, thank God for 'now and next' banners to play with on digital TV. It doesn't feel right, not to write down my thoughts on the programme I'm watching. I even text to my girlfriend, whose sat next to me, to give my latest opinion on what we've just seen. TV is too passive. That's why I play video games.
It's leaked into other places too. When I'm on the toilet, I repeatedly flush the handle, just to get some feedback. When using the microwave, I don't just set the standard timer, I use the advanced menu, just to warm some baked beans. And on the bus yesterday, I made the driver stop of at every bus stop, because I wanted to press the button and hear the "ding".
Anyone else suffering from this lack of interactivity?
I find it hard to concentrate on just one thing at a time. Certainly true of anything offline. So, quite similar.
