TAKE THE HEADPHONES OFF!

I would say that things have always been quiet on here; all communication on here is silent

nice weather today

I think the whole forum's going through a bit of a quiet period at the moment.

Ah, well July/August is always a quiet month in the British comedy business, darling. Most of us are up in Edinburgh "skiing", then having meetings in LA, before a couple of weeks R&R-ing in the West Indies. Back now though and raring to get going on new comedy. (Should have my desk and head cleared by the end of September, love.) Cool

If it's quiet on here, it's probably due in no small part to the fact that there's not a lot of actual new comedy on at the moment.

Without that, we're left with the usual indulgent bollocks. Threads about Jack Tweed, that kind of thing.

So if it's quiet on here, blame telly.

Although Peep Show's back on next week, so that's one thing to look forward to, innit.

Perhaps Rick meant that it's quiet around the 'Writers' Discussion' section? Which is has been for a while, to be fair. About time someone started a thread on "Which font should I use for scripting a kabuki play?" or "Should I put exclamation marks in my stage directions?", something like that.
