Sugar Kane - Sonic Youth
We're still in July but the nights are drawing in. It's getting light in Australia.
The Church - Under The Milky Way
The Church were here in Basel a few years ago. I gave it a miss...stupid idiot me!

This is another good Australian band of the 80s; Hunters & Collectors:
Trailer for "Sharknado". I'm not kidding.

Car crash Leyland promo film
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRyN4XhJ_ms
This is a bizarre promo film from British Leyland shows us why their cars are shit.
Apparetnly its because they are made by sit-com actors eyeing up dolly birds and page 3 stunners instead of concentrating.
And when Arthur from On the Buses is the trouble shooting foreman it does not inspire confidence. Luckily Inspector Barlow is also on hand to investigate the killer carnage caused by a Leyland death mobile.
Yes someone from Leyland OKed this film as good PR. No wonder they went down the pan. A car crash in every sense.

Ah yes, the time when 90% of employees were men aged 55-65 and "the real world" had just four colours - black-orange, yellow-white, turquoize-olive and beige-grey.
One thing the papers never say. The Government just sat with the same car designs for 15 years. Another is that presenters then were generally better than Clarkson.
Jett Rebel - Do You Love Me At All
Reminds me of early Supergrass.
On vimeo
Some sexual content, but nothing too explicit. (He's from Amsterdam.)

Not from Barcelona? That was a clever video and I like the song. I get the Supergrass comparison.
Your Sharknado clip and Y's Leyland one reminded me that this thread is a mixed bag. It isn't all about records. In an attempt to move it again half way to neutral, I've got here what everyone's been crying out for. A good old-fashioned piano lesson.
Some might think they can play the piano. By the very end of this clip, they might need to think again.
Gwilym Simcock - These Are The Good Days
Especially for chip, lots of sheep running free.
PiL - One Drop

Outside (Live) - David Bowie
Rex Hunt, a footy commentator here in Melbourne, yelling at a smoker. This guys whole life might be just an art installation.
I've never seen anything like Quality Connection.

I enjoyed that one. It combined a favourite animal with one of my (past) regular haunts.
