Are you referring to the Rodney Bewes feud? Agree with you there JB is like David Jason, equally effective in drama and comedy. I recently ordered the comedy he did in 1997, The Missing Postman, on video

He was good in The Last Days Of Lehman Brothers. Despite the dysmal American accent.

Really? That is a crying shame. He was superb in both TLL and WhtTLL.. :O Errr
