This is only apparent if you confuse the word 'chav' with the words 'working class'. 'Chav' is a completely different socio-economic sub-set and has nothing to do with the background / labour skills of the 'working class' in general.
Ray Winstone and Gary Oldman come from working class backgrounds, but I wouldn't call them 'Chavs'.
The fact that the word 'Chav' exists in the first place is proof that they are distinct and separate group.
Do I think I am better then Jack Tweed or Jade Goody? You f**king bet I do.
