Stanhope is shit. Can't really see what I thought was so good about him.

Why the change of heart?

Why the change of heart?

Oh I don't know. Perhaps outlining him completely as shit is a bit harsh. It's just after listening to him some more I just got the feeling for someone that is considered this "crusader of truth and reason" most of his arguments seem to just boil down to either fist-f**king, some sexual act, how getting drunk is the only meaning of life, or whatever barely worked out argument he's trying to peddle.

I think it's just slight niggles here and there (his political apathy, his reliance on crude shock-humour rather than anything genuinely thought-provoking and behaving like a prick on Twitter) that has eventually put me off him.

I get where you are coming from. When I first saw him perform in Edinburgh I thought he was sublime. I still think he is very funny when on form but sometimes he is like watching the pub drunk ranting in the corner for attention.

Yeah, I don't think I'll rule him out completely but he's no longer on my favourite comedians list.

As if it matters. Like Doug Stanhope's sitting on his computer like "OH NO! Montser Scum Bag no longer likes me?! Shit! I'd better send him chocolate and money!" I mean really, who cares.

I care, Monster Scum Bag. I care.

Well that's all right then. :)

I've created a range of greetings cards called 'The Session'. It's a collection of famous drinkers, along with their favourite drinks. I bring this up here because my personal favourite is the Doug Stanhope one. If any of you fancy taking a look, just reply here and I'll show you where you can buy your new favourite card!
