Where can we see loads of correctly-formatted BBC-radio-friendly scripts online, just to give us an idea of how other people do these things? I know they themselves give us some guidelines, but it would be nice to get a better general view of things.
thanks
BBC-radio-friendly scripts source?
What's all that line numbering?
I've never considered doing that.
It's a radio thing. (Though more important for a production script than a submission script, I believe. Radio recordings use "edit points" and some such bollocks, might be something to do with that. Akin to numbering bars on a music score.)
They stick the lines in after you've submitted, Chappers. Tim's correct that it's for production. When they're doing pick-ups at recording, it's easier to navigate. "Page 27, lines 6 and 7 -- do it again, only in Greek" -- that sort of thing.
Go to a radio recording and you'll see it being used at the end (or if someone loses their place!)

Right - thanks Dan.
