I just got the opposite email.
Well that's officially the end of my comedy writing career then.

It is if you stop writing. So don't. If you don't want to.

They emailed to let you know you failed?
They just painted it on the hill outside my window, 60 feet high and with a subnote saying "in all things."

Me too
For all those who didn't get stuff in the final edit, think on this. You had to write a funny idea in, when was it, October last year and, presuming no one else had the same idea, have it stay funny, and relevant, through a series of other people's opinions, until May of the following year. That's a hell of a long time. There's not many experienced writers who'd guarantee they could sustain something all the way through that process.
I also got the thanks but no thanks e mail.
Still I was quite pleased to get a bit further than I had on the previous series.
And look forward to hearing the final shows.
Put me in the "not this time matey" column too.
I just got the "f**k off your stuff as shit" email.
Congrats to those who did get in and to those who didn't.
Commiserations to latecomers to the 'not this time mate' gang. And a big well done to Danny, RJ and any others.
I'm in too. Which means Jane is too, as we wrote it together.
Woohoo! Radio 4 debut!
Dan
I got in too.
The Slaggs are in too - which is too weird to contemplate
Slaggtastic!
Got an email ages ago saying the stuff I wrote with a friend didn't make the read-throughs. Then got an email today saying we're in! RFTP must've got rid of one our sketches and kept the other. Twas a nice end to a Mondayish Monday.
