Music Festivals

There's loads of odd smaller ones these days. I've never been to Reading or Glastonbury but these now seem to be just a rite of passage and everyone goes to them - not what I would call real music fans. (Snob!)*

There's one this weekend at Weybridge, Surrey called Weyfest and I've won ticket for it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Jethro Tull - wonder if Anderson can still stand on one leg at his advanced age - and on sunday Osibisa, Blodwyn Pig, Robin Bibi and of course the wonderful Mr Otway.

* No I'm not envious. Well not a lot anyway.

I attended one of three days of the New Orleans Jazz Festival in April. In October I'm attending two of three days of the Austin City Limits Festival and then in November I'll attend both days of the FunFunFun Festival 9also in Austin.)

Hey! I'm a real music fan! *waves Reading wristbands proudly like that proves everything.*
