"Freebies"?

I was reluctant to post this, but here goes anyway.

Stumbled across a website supposedly giving away free stuff. I can't decide whether it's genuine or not?

It appears to work through advertising revenue. You click their ads and subscribe to an offer or trial, then refer a certain amount of friends and get a cut of the money or get a gift.

Anyone ever looked into this? It seems to make sense, but for obvious reasons there's caution!

If it is genuine, I was wondering if anyone would want to go in on a "you scratch my back, I scratch yours" typa thang? Not sexual.

Any thoughts?

There are plenty of things like this around. A few years ago they were mostly to get a 'free iPod'. It's a pyramid scheme, basically. It's cheaper, easier, and quicker just to buy the 'free' object. They don't do any harm, but I wouldn't bother with it.
