Critique memories

Hi all,

Just thought it'd be interesting to try to gauge what funny sketches are sticking in our minds from the critique section.

Broadcasted sketches have performance that obviously give them a boost, but I wonder what sketches we remember just from the writing.

The 2 for me (and more will come) are Ben's sketch about the old chap and the delivery man https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/9251, and Kevin Murphy's recent comic relief one https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/14739. Crackers.

Ta Catskillz - links added

You should post links to those sketches.

For some reason this one always sticks in my mind.

Never caught that one first time around. Not really up my street - but interesting to see you remember it after 6 months. Good stuff.

There was a thread on Critique recommendations a few weeks back. Think on the whole the sketches people could remember were from when they first joined - after a while they all merge into one!

D'oh - fair enough - I really must research these things

I've been thinking about closing this thread but need to find the link to the other thread first. Although I've been holding back because I remember the other thread (in General) as being a best of 2008 or 9 thread. Anyway, I'll go check.

No the other thread is a general one, much the same as this.
There was a brief discussion about having a 2008 best sketch comp to follow the 2007 comp.

I can put the above links on the other thread to keep them in one place.
:)

Aye - that'd be grand Steve.

Sorry to have cocked this up y'all, but know this:

Never before have I used "y'all" in a sentence. It's almost been worth it.

And in my 300th post too.

And in my 300th post too.

There's already a thread for that sort of thing.
:P :D

Cheers for bumping the original, Steve. :)

Here's the link to it: https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/14397
