Doesn't mention of this word trigger a thread getting locked? That's shallot.

Oh dear.

Oh dear.

Yes indeed. Tut.

I might have missed something, but wouldn't people on here rather eat fresh fish, fruit, cream, etc, rather than fish, fruit, cream etc which is still perfectly edible but not quite as fresh?

It's the word fresh! Not the concept.

(Rather than Aaron's spelling of diarrhoea, which to be fair is difficult to spell but shouldn't really be for a self-confessed spelling pedant)

Annoyingly that's what I did put originally! Stupid American Google. Angry

Eating is not the hobby.

What was the hobby then?

What was the hobby then?

Erm... cooking?

So would you prefer the fish, cream, fruit etc to be called "today's" instead? That's not a bad idea - plain English and all that. Fresh thinking - I like it!

Erm... cooking?

That'll be the one.

Yep!

Eating's Cooking's not a hobby, it's what you do to stop yourself from starving to death contracting bacterial septicaemia from your food.

What's your hobby Tim?

Collecting gold fillings from prostitutes.

Jus.

What's with all the anti-Semitism on the board today? Angry

Scotti, did you see my feathered friend

Do they have the hawk at Euston???

I know they use her at the new St Pancras station to scare away the pigeons.

Very effective too.

Why? The actual sound or what it means? All those phrases sound really appetising to me.

I like fresh cream, fish and all that. For me, it's the sound of those words. They are nails on blackboard to me. As soon as I hear those trigger words I start getting agitated.

I'd like to assume that everything I buy is fresh. :)

Oddly the Eels song - 'Fresh Feeling' has no effect on me, mainly because I'm wrapped up in what's happening in the music and not the lyrics.
