Do you GROW? Page 38

They're only on a windowsill looking pretty. If they don't fruit, it's no real problem.

I've been busy in the garden this week, planted loads of peas, tomatoes, onions, carrots, some flowers. Might try some squash / pumpkins too.

I also planted a bag of bulbs I found in the shed that were about 5 years old, although I don't hold much hope for them.

The British Comedy Guide Forums boasts the following threads:

Only Fools and Horses - the best series (2 pages)
Fawlty Towers (6 pages)
Steptoe and Son (5 pages)

Yet a thread about what vegetables we all grow is 38 pages long! Something has gone wrong here!

We all love a vegetable!

Banana skins feature heavily in comedy. They deserve a thread of their own.

Bananas aren't vegetables Angie!

Can you grow bananas in the uk?

I thought you were just pleased to see me Big Fella!

Although technically, I think bananas are actually herbs.

I like this thread, it's a little windowbox of calm, I come here to meditate.

Just reread the first couple of pages. Where did AndreaLynne go?

Wasn't she rehousing some children ?

She was looking for a bigger house for all her kids plus new kid/s, yep.

Planted tomatoes in the garden?!?! This be madness! It's too early!

(Or do you mean you've sown some seeds in the greenhouse? In which case, as you were.)

Botanically, bananas are berries!

(Not including the skin, which is a seed case)

I don't have a greenhouse anymore TB...best to wait till April/ May to sow ?

I sow tomatoes (and all tender veg) in an unheated greenhouse on April 1st.

But, you can so them now in pots on the windowsill. It's fun!

Will do..thanks :)
