Can't remember sitcom...please help

Hello -

I've been trying to remember a sitcom that I watched a couple yrs ago on BBCA. I've searched through many show titles and discriptions but nothing rings a bell.
The following is what little I can remember of it -
A young man and young woman share a flat. He's a gay man who wants to be an actor. She's a young woman [fat] with bright red hair.

Sorry to say that's about all I can remember about the show other than it was quite funny to me.

If someone could please help I would appreciate it very much.

regards,

baboo

Welcome baboo. :)

Yep, definitely Gimme Gimme Gimme. Half-surprised it's not had a Region 1 release, actually.

THANK YOU Aaron...I really appreciate it and now plan to do some diggin' to see if I can find it on DVD......Thanks again!

DVD links are above, baboo. :)

Thank you.....
Any idea where I can buy it in a format that will play on USA DVD players?
I've not had any luck with that.....

regards

I can't believe you can't unlock your DVD player to make it region free and not have to worry about this again.

As I said, it's not had a Region 1 (North America) release. See if your DVD player can be made multi-region/region free (different terms for the same thing).

Google something like: "YOUR DVD PLAYER MAKE/MODEL NUMBER region free hack" (without the quotation marks).

I do not have an all-region player......I guess mine is antique....

What's the make and model of your player, baboo?

It's - Go.Video DVR4200

Try this.

http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/govideo-dvr4200/1175

Go to DVD mode.

Press pause.

Enter Pi until FF appears (314159)

Enter region desired (0 for region-free).

Press pause again.

NOTES:

Will not work while DVD is playing, while CD is playing, or while in ''dISK LOAD'' mode. However, it will work while DVD or CD is stopped.

Beat me to it, Nil! Although, I can't figure out what "Pi" means?

Beat me to it, Nil! Although, I can't figure out what "Pi" means?

Enter Pi (the number). :) So hit 3,1,4,1,5,9 on the remote until FF appears. :)
