I miss the physical side, rolling and taking time out to smoke. But the actual tobacco and pebble addiction wasn't too bad and I came from smoking pebble ALL day.
Occasionally I'll get an urge but it's not too bad. I smoked those e-cigs the other day. That curved me from buying a real packet of fags.
Maybe if it gets bad, bake some brownies? 
I think that's what I'll miss too, and in times of stress, the actually smoking.
Ha, nah, need to make a clean break and it's getting it that really became a chore.
Gave up smoking (and drinking) 5 years ago and don't miss either one bit. It does help though, if you have a illness part attributed to smoking.

I get where you're coming from, Les. I smoked for years but hit a point where I just fell over it; it smelled terrible, tasted off, and was burning a hole in my pocket, literally. I switched to vapes, which are game changers, especially with the variety. I started with disposables because they're simple and have no maintenance, then moved to a vape kit once I wanted more control over flavors and nicotine levels.

Just give up - I tried for years to give up and lost count of the failures, but the prices were getting silly, so enrolled on the local surgery stop smoking and with their help (Champix pills I think they were called) and am 8 years without a fag, and now it never crosses my mind, which I am gobsmacked about because there were many, many years I thought I could never do it.
My son uses vapes and occasionally has a packet of rollie tobacco, but I can't remember the last time he did that.
