It just me, or is there anyone out there who does not Fawlty Towers that much?
Does anyone else dislike Fawlty Towers?
I've seen it and enjoyed it. I don't go out of my way to watch it though.

yup, same here.
I realize it was groundbreaking and pivotal for its time and has secured its place firmly in the history, but I do not find it particularly funny. It is just not something I'd roll on the floor laughing about.
Oh I think it is one of the greatest British sitcoms of all time. It is just consistently funny in my opinion. Where else has there been some top quality quotes over twelve episodes. Sydney Opera House perhaps.
I don't think you can doubt the quality of Fawlty Towers, and it's rightly hailed as the best British Sitcom of all time.
But it is showing it's age, and wouldn't necessarily be everyones favourite these days.
I think it isn't showing its age.
It's fantastic.
I love it
Never liked it.
I don't like Monty Python either so whenever John Cleese gets called a comedy genius I always frown but eventually say nothing.
It is most definitely showing its age. Fawlty Towers is a very old-fashioned British farce - which without the amazing John Cleese would have been forgotten about and buried years ago.
Agree that it was great in its time, but I couldn't watch them again.
A case of too much of a good thing.
I <3 Fawlty Towers
I <3 John Cleese
I <3 Monty Python
I <3 Just about anything from the Pythons (Jabberwocky stunk)
