Best Man Speech

INT. DAY. HALL.

A WEDDING RECEPTION IS TAKING PLACE. THE HOTEL MC STANDS AT THE SIDE OF THE FRONT TABLE.

MC:
Ladies and gentlemen, raise your glasses and be up standing for the bride and groom.

THE BRIDE AND GROOM ENTER TO RAPTUROUS APPLAUSE.

MC:
I'm sure he'll want to get it over him so without further ado I'll hand you over to the best man for his speech.

FX APPLAUSE.

CAMERA PANS ACROSS TOP TABLE WHERE BESIDE THE BRIDE AND GROOM STANDS A MIME ARTIST.

Nice :)

That is quite a nice idea, but I think there is actually comic potential in having a mimed best man's speech.

Seems unfinished to me, but, as mentioned above, there is certainly potential.

Very funny.

Yeah, a mimed speech, with crude jokes, could be very good.

As above. This just seems to be the start of something for me.
