NewsRevue Edinburgh Show BBC Radio Interview

Hey, look.
This Radio Scotland show features an interesting BBC Scotland interview of the Edinburgh NewsRevue team, (about 10 minutes in)

I'm thrilled that the example song and sketch they performed on the radio show were both written by me. :)
The song Our House It Wont Sell (written by myself and Mrs Mikey) and DWP Fictional Characters Department.
They sandwiched them either side of somebody's Bobby Robson gag.

You can listen to it on iPlayer for the next few days.

(It's the 10/8/09 episode)

Does this count as a broadcast credit Mikey?

Nice work :)

Hey, well done Mikey - this is great. I loved the song - and you get to keep a recording of it which is excellent, and unusual for Newsrevue I'm sure.

Congratulations.

:D

Well done

That's what the Other 'Arf asked me. I'm not sure. Would it if it's part of an interview?

Do I?
Yep, I made sure I recorded it. :)

Nice one - the song was great.

Well done, Mikey! Finally! If a different way to that you expected!

I'd say if the whole sketch was on, you've had a sketch broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland.

Dan

It isn't my first broadcast credit on BBC Scotland, though, as I had sketches featured on the recent Watson's Wind-Up. (Comedy Unit)

And yes...I suppose it can count as a credit. :)
