Poor old Hitler would be hurt by all these rather silly similees.
On that basis you could compare Blair, Cameron or even poor pathetic Harman to Hitler. Bascially any slightly uncompromising politician.

Classy. You should still got to bed, though.

Lend Ska, Geddit?
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ August 14 2009, 2:37 AM BSTToo true, Hitler never wavered from his cause, spoke his mind, didn't cosy up to the Americans (quite the opposite) and fought and died for his beliefs.
Unfortunately, he never got a chance to appear on Big Brother...damn you history!
Is this allowable, to use someone else's name in a quote you made up? I'd prefer that you didn't ever do it to me, whether or not it's something as offensive and objectionable as making me praise Hitler.

Yes, I really should ban that behaviour.
However, I think in this case RC was observing that one could speak of Hitler along many of the same lines as Galloway: consistent both morally and politically, no matter how wrong we may think that those morals and politics were.
In this case I think RC should have noted that he had changed the quote to make that point though.
I know what he was doing. If he thinks Galloway is similar to Hitler that's up to him, but don't use my name to make that point.

Build a bridge and get over yourself Godot Nazi. (Did you see what I did there?)
Don't worry, from now on I will never misquote you, in fact, I won't even acknowledge your existence.
Now move along, you're getting in the way of my jokes.
Sorry, I didn't see them.
You know one of the truly daft things about people who say Hitler was at least consistent is that he wasn't.
If you voted for him in 1936 here's some of the things you might have been expecting.
1 A VW he spent your car savings on tanks.
2 The rule of law, he disbanded all the courts and actually the Reich was a haven for criminals of all sorts.
3 A Butlins type holiday, he spent your holiday savings on tanks.
4 A 1000 year Reich it lasted about 9.
5 A nice dinner, people ate less well under his regime than under Wiemarr.
Oh yes and a cappuccino only the army had access to coffee.
So basically he was unreliable and unpredictable and couldn't even sodding mind up about which country to invade.
Also dictators are not politicians. If you can shoot anyone who disagrees with you and you have a body guard of 50,000 psychos, a torture dungeon, anthrax and a 1,000,000 shoes being consistent is a piece of piss.
Doing it as a politician who has to seek reelection every 4 years and gets drubbed by the press for buying a Twix is much harder.

Well he shot himself before the Russians could have had him bummed by a bear.

Wasn't he a politician before being a dictator?
Well yes, but I think most people are referring to the whole of his career.
He burnt the Reichstag pretty sharpish after getting voted, so Prince Charles probably would have approved.

Yes. Dictators are just politicians who get to live the dream.
sootyj is indeed correct with his assertations, I literally cannot tell the difference between Adolf Hitler and George Galloway. I really am that stupid / insane / short sighted.
Thankfully, he's corrected me on the error of my ways. I feel foolish now.
Now I must get back to my beautiful girlfriend, Heroes actress Hayden Panetiere (though I sometimes get her mixed up with an old broom wearing a dress that I've painted a lipstick mouth on).

It was more of a general moan at one of this forums more common cliches.
And that broom? It makes me breakfast 3 times a week and laughs at your genitalia.
I'm also f**king your mop.
Cuckold.

Again, the joke is on you. I threw out my stinking, bug ridden, mouldy mop ages ago. Amy Winehouse has been hanging round my kitchen though (huffing Flash mainly), so you must have shagged her by mistake.
I'd get down the clinic if I were you.
Ha ha! What have you been cleaning your floors with then?
You have sticky floors sir.
