Discussion About TV Commissioning on FIveLive Now
Was it interesting?
The part before the 3.30pm news was the most relevant from the writing perspective. There was someone from the BBC presenting the Corportation view about how encouraging the BBC is to new writers and another guest who found the BBC very frustrating. They were covering drama, documentaries and general format shows like Hole In The Wall. It's worth a listen, if only to hear Mark Radcliffe standing in for Simon Mayo.
Here's the quick link for anyone interested:

Relevant bit starts at about 2:17 in the running time.
I haven't listened to it yet.
I do like FiveLive.
So do I.
FiveLive is very good.
If they were to sign up Jeremy Vine then I, for one, would be in seventh heaven.
But really, I've taken this thread off topic.
Good point, Ben.
Er... I haven't listened to this discussion. I probably won't bother to either. Anyone else?

I for one can't be arsed to listen.
That's nothing to be proud of earman *shakes his head sadly*
I'm not surprised, Griff. You seem much more of a Kerrang FM man.
Simon Mayo's good.
