Wasn't Robert Englund in V before the Nightmare films?

Maybe I saw a re-run or maybe V was shown over here after I saw a pirate copy of Nightmare on Elm Street.

I don't know about that but I tell you who was in it - Michael Ironside as a resistance leader and the bird that played David St Hubbins' "f**king wife" as one of the freaky lizard aliens.

I loved the way it was the bastard child of; The A Team, Battlestar Galactica and Dynasty only in the 1980s
