The Beatles weren't quite rubbish. Page 10

Music largely disinterests and bores me quite quickly. I'd rather have visuals.

Maybe you haven't given it much of a chance? It's been proven to be a very primary instinct in humans that has huge effect on our brains.

Hasn't music ever made you cry, or want to dance?

Whilst I do like Dylan I often prefer his songs performed by other artists.

You can't hear Blood on the Tracks performed by other artists.

I used to listen to quite a bit. But very little excites or appeals to me anymore. And since the demise of TOTP I rarely hear anything new anyway.

No.

There was a very good epispode of Imagine which looked at musicality and there are certain people who genuinely are tone deaf (like being colour blind) who just can't differentiate between notes, sounds and rythms.

I think my mum may be like that.

my literature teacher may be as well. He admits he does not care for music, and it does not touch him in any way.

On the other hand, he is (naturally) a massive fan of books.

To each his own, I guess. I love both music and reading a lot. And, well, britcoms as well :)

Ooh go me, 27 out of 30 on the first test, and 30 out of 30 on the second.

Dylan is genius.

I have to agree. The man's early output is in a league of its own.

I even named my son after the guy, but only because my wife wouldn't let me name him after a certain Mr. Townshend.

Did she have a premonition?

I got 22 the first time, and 25 the second.

Did she have a premonition?

She just didn't want to have a son named Peter.

Oooooooooooo, get you!

Heh. I bet you were doing a few other things at the same time as taking it though.

Well it was lucky she didn't. :)
(Also Dylan is a much cooler name).
