Ultimately muslim extremism can only be tackled by the muslims themselves, and there is a lot to be said for giving the extremists a platform to condemn themselves out of their own mouths. In Pakistan a turning point was when television channels showed mobile phone footage of a teenage girl being held down and flogged by the Taliban. Let people see for themselves what the extremists stand for before the battle lines are drawn. The more hits Ummah.com gets the better.
