Going back to the original post, it's a shit joke but I'm not so bothered by that. What bothers me more is that the thread was titled "Racist joke thread". Despite bushbaby's protestations, what is that other than an invitation for people to make further posts stirring up hatred?
It's an interesting message board that closes threads and bans members for creating admittedly irritating but ultimately harmless new threads about fishing, but does nothing about one designed purely to spread hate based on race, nationality or religious belief. If only there were laws against that sort of thing!

I don't know if bushbaby is a racist, but I've seen enough on this thread and others for me to form an opinion that she is a racist. I only wish I had a choice about whether my taxes went to the support of racists, but that's one price of living in this lovely country.
The idea of boundaries and race/taste in humour is a great one for debate and there have been threads about this in the past. Why not add to an existing thread (as others have been told to recently)? And anyway, this isn't an original joke written by bushbaby on which she seeks feedback is it? What's it doing in Critique?
So, in the spirit of the BCG, it is on the latter point that I will of course be reporting the original post.
no it's not original, it came in an email today and it made me laugh so much but that's me, as I said further up, it has been argued many times on here that comedy can be about any subject, even paedophilia so I didn't think a racist joke would cause such a stir. It's not as if I've submitted it to the Tv or the likes, I know it would not stand a chance, it's just humour, that's all, IMO that is
