Yep. And we were fed KFC if we had to work late.

Sounds ideal!
(How did you get into it anyway?)

You scamp.

That sounds quite considerate to be honest.
Congrats on the success btw Griff - hope you'll be buying us drinks to celebrate at the next BSG meet up. If that's not a tradition it should be.

You just claim to have done it on your CV, and then they give you a test at the interview, and if you can do it, you've got the job. At least that's been my experience.
Oooh.
*amends CV*

Yeah, I just did a test at an interview.

Sorry to drag this back on-topic but,normally, I do 9.00am - 1.30pm weekdays.
If there's a deadline, longer hours.
When the kids are off it gets a bit trickier, though.
I just try to make sure I get something down each day.
I write every day at the moment.
If I'm in a lull between freelance projects, or waiting for notes on my pilot script, I'll try to knock out a sketch, some one-liners, or a substantial blog post or something.
If I wasn't writing I think I'd go a little loopy.
But 9am? Feck that. I'm an afternoon person.
I write every day.
The duration varies per day, often locking myself away for hours. The other day, the missus thought I was a burglar, as she hadn't seen me for ages.
