Aaron punctuated two of their top men,and Chortle were gone by the end of the year.
I'm glad we won, but I wish we hadn't.
Also in 2012 in an unprecedented Forum Wars move, Jane P launched an attack on herself so vicious it made National Headlines. In a flurry of bullying cyber gang mentality, other forum members joined in to bait her and then turned on themselves until the situation became so inflamed the British Army were called away from their Olympics stewarding duties to shut down the site.
Mark, Aaron, L.E., Lee and Zoo formed a human shield to stop them while Marc P launched vicious verbal attacks from the left and Steve Sunshine and Sooty J wore them down with a 24 hour gagathon from the right. Meanwhile Renegade Carpark and AJGO tried to calm things down by replaying highlights of the British Comedy Guide's history via the medium of interpretive dance.
Eventually the whole thing was resolved when the Chief Commander asked if anyone knew what sitcom it was in the 70's which starred a talking cat, a transvestite and a short man dressed as a child with a weetabix fixation. And there was something about eggs? It had been bugging him for years. The BCG answered as one, gave him the links to buy the DVDs via their site and the matter was resolved instantly.
To this day no-one knows what became of JP or what drove her to it...
