I'll start with
In My Life
& For No One.

& to stick a George one in there
Here Comes the Sun

Are you familiar with McCartney's 'demo' of For No One, where he does his extempore French horn bit?

As for George, surely his "lost" 1964 track, You Know What To Do, is hard to top. The Inner Light good too, twice a year.

Interesting stuff about The Beatles on a fascinating blog on the origins (and covers) of songs. Turns out John Lennon's Merry Christmas (War Is Over) is apparently a rip-off of a song called Stewball (about a racehorse - and recorded by the Hollies).

I know many different versions of Skewball, but I cannot say I have ever made that connection.

Ringo did a charming and very witty non-snipe called Early 1970 from the Don't Come Easy sessions. Each verse dealing with his pals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7WluAUK6drc Good ol' Ringo - Love and peace indeed.

Indeed.

Because of this thread I decided to take over the music at work today
Just played a few Beatles albums off that You tube

In this order

Rubber Soul
Revolver
Help
Sgt Peppers
Abbey Road

and then then someone else put on repeat fm or whatever rubbish we usually have on.
