Quote: Tim Walker @ September 22 2009, 2:10 PM BSTI think the lighting was very bad for the photos - or they were too hi-res? The pics appear to have been taken with some sort of "inverse beer goggles" filter attached.
Thats what happens when you use one of the modern compact cameras with flash built right on the camera in a lowish light area. The flash is full frontal and overexposes the faces and gives many people red-eye.
Dolly looks like a super-hero woman with glowing eyes.
If nearly everyone has downloaded the hi-res pictures there's not much point in me making more sensible sized ones now is there?
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ September 22 2009, 4:48 PM BSTI imagine Zooo is very slim with black hair and green eyes.
I imagine myself like that sometimes.
The main observation I took away from these photos is that I appear to be pregnant.
Quote: Marc P @ September 22 2009, 3:00 PM BSTIt was a great day - on three railway platforms just as they were, riding between them on a steam train which took about ten minutes each trip. Would have liked to have made the meet mind. Sods Law I guess which gives mea an idea for a sitcom set in a scottish police station during WW2
Maybe the next BCG meet should be on a Steam Train. ?
We have done that a few times for my ex-School forum.
Great fun but you have to bring all the booze & sandwiches.
We went on the: http://www.watercressline.co.uk/
but there are lots others as possibles: http://www.heritagerailways.com/abc.html
Oooh!!
KFC picnic on a steam train!

Quote: Renegade Carpark @ September 22 2009, 4:34 PM BSTI thought your face looked quite normal and pretty.
In fact all the ladies looked very pretty from what I can remember.
Hear, Here
or indeed
Here, here, please.
Don't think there are many steam engines in London, plus where would I be able to smoke?

And bill broke his beer goggles, so it must be true.

On the little platform at the back as in all the best Western movies.

I'm. Not. Organising.
There's some good one's here.
Quote: Renegade Carpark @ September 22 2009, 4:34 PM BSTWhich is weird, you'd think they'd be a few uggos on an internet forum.
We gents made up for it.
Quote: EllieJP @ September 22 2009, 5:12 PM BSTI'm. Not. Organising.
Doesn't need much organising, because the attendees just HAVE TO BE THERE ON TIME.
Best to reserve a carriage or portion of though, after you have a rough count of attendees.
Sorry, I'm not volunterring to organise either .
