Yes, I watched United and Villa. United didn't perform, with the only decent player for United being Valencia.

It feels bad when youre top performers are new boys valencia, obertan, giggs and gibson :/
Giggs a new boy?
I back Villa or Spurs to take the title this year. Chelsea and Ipswich are too blue and MU, Aldershot, too red. Same old primary colours still winning everything! Where are the clarets and light blues of yesteryear? The mighty whites who dominated English football in the 60s and 70s, why has their colour faded now? Villa and Spurs stir the loins, 'Come on you Villa' and 'Come on you Spurs'. Ahhh, doesn't that sound good, like a proper, traditional football team.
Liverpool is the only consolation from this weekend's results. SlagB is going to have an unpleasant time in the Big Smoke.
In Rafa I trust... to screw up.

Brilliant to see Ryan Giggs win Sports Personality of the year. Another honour for the legend.

Yup very very happy for him
All he needs now is a fourth prem title in a row
Good result for us Gooners today. Nice to see us win a game when we've generally played badly. Arsharvin's finish was a blinder though.
On the downside, one of my twins has decided that she is a Spurs fan and wants to go to White Hart Lane. Oh well, I've still got another daughter, I suppose...

You say 'another' as if you are going to keep the Spurs fan.

It's OK, legally Anna (aka Spurs Scum) will be cut out of the will as soon as I can get to see my solicitor. Sophie's not much interested in football, so I'm just praying she doesn't turn out to be a Chelsea fan.
I had two mates who were brothers, who started supporting Everton just to annoy their Liverpool-supporting Dad, when they were kids. This was in 1988, when Everton were champions. I can remember watching the '88 F.A. Cup Final in his house, with a few other mates, all of whom were Evertonians. How we laughed when John Aldridge famously missed his penalty, and Wimbledon won the cup. Happy days.

Are you from the Holloway end of London then?
I always thought Tim was from London originally...
