Well no, there's one Kipper only. The focus was on 'play hard' as in the well known phrase 'work hard, play hard' and not the footballing term, as in hard player. So the 'work hard' bit is redundant, it's just part of the phrase you misinterpreted, which is understandable I suppose. Maybe I should've put 'party hard' but it's not really one of my sayings.
I was referring to players like Maddison, Grealish, Foden who England badly need for their creativity but Southgate has currently or in the past blocked their England progress because of their 'partying' lifestyle. Although he's strangely done nothing against others like Walker, Sterling and Maguire who've also had bad press for their private life excesses and can't get a breather from playing for England.
Stiles was a hard working headless chicken. Haynes was a gifted playmaker who'd be in anyone's England team today, except the current manager's. Good hard players are great, like Phillips. England succumbed to the krauts when he went off. Southgate looks much more like a woke PE teacher than a manager of a national team with a lot of potential.
