I had a face to face confrontation with a really mouthy bastard at our game today. He's one of those who loves the sound of his own voice - like Blessed with a moustache.

Every week he slags off his own team and ths afternoon I just flipped. It made me feel better anyway - a bit.

Really? How are The Scum doing in that world?

Oh, and really odd refereeing today. Didn't end up affecting the result, thank God, but David Bentley should have been sent off for two bookable offences in the first ten minutes. A deliberate handball and then a stupidly late and dangerous tackle. He didn't receive a yellow card for either. Obviously I'm biased, but Andy Gray was mystified as well. I can understand the referee not wanting to book players early on in a game such as this (thus making a rod for his own back), but these were blatant yellow card decisions, which weren't really subject to interpretation. They were straightforward bookings decisions, if one is following the laws of the game.

Well it makes up for it, as Bentley was harshly sent off for me on fifa today, before they really played. My season with them only two games old, won one and drew one. Robbie Keane's immense for them on Fifa.

What did you say to him?

I just told to shut up moaning and he loved the sound of his own voice and why didn't he just f**k off if he didn't like the way things were going. Nothing major! :)

I wish someone would say that to my Dad, he's terrible for moaning at football matches. It's embarrasing to be honest. Poor Park Ji Sung always gets a rollocking off him when he in my opinion puts in a good shift. I had to tell him myself once when he felt the need to call Peter Crouch a 'Lanky C**t' really loud in the pub. I told him there was no need for him to say that, to which point he didn't talk to me for a week.

Anyway, a decent three points for United today, they didn't play well but they won. Brown and Evans were great at the back for us, we didn't miss Vidic or Ferdinand at all.

To be fair to your Dad, Crouch is definitely "Lanky".

As someone who had to sit on a sofa during the Liverpoo v Man United match as SlagB and SlagC ground their hips menacingly, inches from my face, in celebration, for a full minute after the Torres goal, can I just say that Roy Hodgson now has a new fan.

SlagB has failed to phone since the weekend. I've left him a few messages but my hip-grinding just hasn't the same impact on an answerphone.

And I hope they keep Benitez because he's a chump.

:O There's a SlagC?! :O

:O

:O :O :O

He's more a honorary Slagg; he acts, rather than writes. :)

Very lucky win for the inbreds tonight.

Manchester United and CSKA Moscow tonight. I'm going, I have a ticket for it. Looking forward to it.

Come on you reds - oh sorry. They're not communists anymore are they!

Laughing out loud

I really enjoyed the last ten minutes last night. A good match.

And it looks like my beloved Gooners have qualified for the knock out stage of the Champions League - 3-0, get in!

Now we can sit back, relax and play our kid's kids for the final qualifying games (unless it's a school night obviously).

Oh yes, looks like the Scousers are heading out.
