True but there are other leagues that have some pretty top notch players that rarely leave their countries like Cuba. I bet if they had a World Cup for baseball US would win but they'd still have a run for their money.

The best Cuban players manage to disappear during road trips and reappear in the United States.
I used to think the same way about the Russians and Swedish leagues but then they kick a lot of ass when it comes to World Cup hockey tournaments.

Believe it or not I was gonna mention that earlier on.
I watched a good chunk of the game while doing laundry in the hotel. From the maintenance workers to the manager, the entire hotel staff was VERY MUCH INTO THE GAME.

Seems one of them was, ahem, somewhat confused.
