Right - time to finish the season.

That's what I said when Liverpool had the early kick off last Saturday.

And It's Hi Ho Wolverhampton !

:D

What with City slipping up today, tomorrow night's game is going to be very interesting. Unless it's a 0-0 result.

4 wins out of 4 for the Orient
Top of the table!

An excellent result for the Mighty Reds away at Watford today. A tricky game negotiated. Back on top where we belong.

the Mighty Reds

Easier to sing than "Come on you Tricky Trees".

In fact, how DOES that work?

Tricky Trees is quite 80's - we don't tend to use it these days.

We do sing a version of "Mull of Kintyre" which begins with the line "Oh mist rolling in from the Trent..."

As I grew up singing this, I never clicked that we had adapted the song for our own purposes and thought McCartney had simply written in that way.

I visited the Mull and asked the local populace why they thought a song about a Scottish peninsula referenced a river in the East Midlands. Rolling eyes

The laughed.

I wouldn't mind, but it was only last year. :$

"Yesterday" was originally composed as "Scrambled Eggs". :)

Interesting result yesterday, still too early to see if Man City are not as good as they need to be to win back the title but take a look at Chelsea's midfield now :O Plus Mourihno's back. Man Utd are very slick and flowing but will struggle if key players get injured, unlike the Chelsea squad who can rotate to keep players fresh. Man Utd's defence also shaky compared to Chelsea's. Chelsea comfortable champions this season for me.

Not sure Rooney will want to go to Chelsea now as he doesn't like sitting out games. Arsenal for Rooney? Good move for him and Arsenal imo but I can't see their board having the bottle to pay nearly a hundred million for him over five years if you include his wages, Arsenal are nervy when it comes to big money, or just tight. If they don't tho, Liverpool and Spurs will easily push them out of the CL this time, they've both bought well. It could finally be bye bye Arsen. Wave

Been a fairly uneventful game so far.

01 Liverpool,

You speak madness!

Watching Jamie Carragher make a fool of himself on MNF. I really dislike that man.
