I must say I'm very disappointed - you'd rather watch Chelsea than listen to my radio show.
Quote: Jamey @ May 19 2012, 10:46 PM BSTAshley Cole was incredible, things may be looking up for England.
Yes, not sure how he didn't win man of the match, and close to him was Checz. It was the defence what won it, so how did Drog get mom award?
Anyway this was England stuffing the bosh on their patch and it was wonderful to see. Fantastic reaguard action that yet again Jerry had no answer to, this was London repelling all their doodlebugs and winning again. When will they learn?
I couldn't have cared less about the match. But just loved the photo
Obama caught between his staunchest military ally and the most powerful politician in Europe. Does he cheer or not?

Quote: Lazzard @ April 25 2012, 7:21 PM BST...as long as the woodwork continues to play for us.
They should paint the posts blue and be done with it.
If I may quote my earlier post.
A brilliant, inspiring night.
Still, genuine sadness for Spurs.
It must have been especially galling for some of their more senior fans to find themselves having to support a German team.

Well done Chelsea, but gutted for Spurs.

Drogba getting it was sentimental guff.
He scored the equalizer and the winning penalty in "Probably his last match as a Chelsea player."
It really wouldn't have mattered how absent he was the whole game nor how many penalties he conceded strikers who score winning goals always get the recognition.

Drogba is the best centre forward in the premier league. He has strength, power, can shoot and head brilliantly. n all-round centre forward.
Do I smell sour grapes? After all Chelsea only won the European Cup and the FA Cup. Manchester City won the legue. What did Manchester United win? Um....
Quote: Ben @ May 19 2012, 8:38 PM BSTBayern may rue all this wasted possession and inability to convert.
As one reporter said on the radio - they were too Reliant on Robben.
Quote: Tursiops @ May 19 2012, 9:23 PM BSTYes!! 83 minutes Bayern 1 Chelsea 0
Quote: Ben @ May 19 2012, 9:28 PM BSTChelsea are the shittest team on the planet. Bar none.
Trufax.
Oh my! What a header!
Quote: Tursiops @ May 19 2012, 9:28 PM BSTBollocks. 89 minutes Chelsea equalised.

Yes but he didn't feature that much and the defenders had far more work than him to do so it should have gone to one of them.

Did you just gloss over that conversation? There is no denying how great a player he is, but that is neither here nor there in the discussion about how deserving he was of the man of the match award.

Oh f**k off. That's just a pre-season friendly.
An amazing last twenty four (and a bit) hours. I'm just glad that all squad players are given medals, because they all deserve it.
Ross Turnbull's going to need a bigger mantlepiece.
Chelsea are just a bunch of overpaid individuals loosely held together by ego-tape. Individual glory hunting bastards.

Shhh it's a football super cup. Well it is when we win it.

So what makes them any different to any other top 10 club?
