You're one player short, you've only picked 22. James Milner, perhaps?

Johnson over Downing for me, easily. Also Heskey should be nowhere near that England squad. I reckon Zamora should be taken as target man to play next to Rooney and Bent in case of injuries. If our strike force gets depleted I'd rather have Bent in the lone striker role than any of the others.

What Elliot said. Plus Milner to make it up to 22. So what Don said, too,

Milner - yes!
BTW, have I selected the most annoying defensive squad ever seen?
Terry
Ferdinand
Upson
Lescott
Cole
Johnson
Gary Neville
I have time for Upson and Johnson is OK apart from his stupid haircut but as for the others...

There's only one left back there too, and he probably won't be fit, even if he does go. I know Lescott can play there at a push, but he's not been in great form and I think he's currently injured too. I'd go Baines if Cole's not fit.
I'd still play Stuart Pearce if I could

Ah, one of my footballing heroes.
Quote: Chappers @ April 15 2010, 12:58 AM BSTI just know someone's going to wind him up and he'll react.
So if he reacts, that makes him a Neanderthal? What about the player winding him up?
I'm a United fan and definetly would not bring Gary Neville to the World Cup Tuumble. Likewise, I don't think Michael Carrick deserves to go. He's been atrocious for United over the last couple of monthss
You need proper cover at left back too.
I'd definitely have Milner there because as far as I'm concerned he is the most honourable English player around.

I quite like Robert Green for his sense of humour. I wonder if he still has these gloves? Poor guy.
It must be so stressful being a Professional Goalie. I used to play in goal quite a bit when I was in Primary school, but that was only because I was a late-starter when it came to football, and wasn't very good back then. When I started senior school, I got into the school team as an outfield player.
Third minute of injury time - United have don eit AGAIN! It makes me....ARGGGGHHHHH!
...and as for Gary Neville.
I don't fancy Spurs chances of fourth place despite beating Chelsea right now. The BBC predictor has had them 'removed'.

Good day for Tottenham - good week actually. Terry's been sent off.
