The Andrea Doria collided with the Stockholm off Nantucket Island.

OH no,... genuine voltage traces of pulses in the delay lines.

Ok, that's what I'd expected. I remember freezing the CRT screen on spectrum analyzers and recreating the bit sequence from satellite telemetry when I was a bored soldier.

Fascinating though this is :D (talking about me Laughing out loud )

It's nearly 3am here in London, so I'm off to bed.

G'night.

Good night.

Hmm, clicking on my avatar leads me to believe that imageshack has been compromised. Must fix ...

Glad to see Stewie back...

I guess it's just the two of us again. Someone needs to introduce the UK to the joys of crystal meth and all-night Internet prowling.

yeah, my youngest is a nightowl, my husband is a twit and won't take a turn with the night shift, and I'm waiting for my snot of a sister in your neck of the woods to get back to me on plans for when she visits.

Night shift for what?

Texans aren't allowed to visit "up North" unless they have all their shots.

Staying up with our little guy. He'll probably be awake for a couple hours yet. My sister's not a Texan. She moved there in 2002 because her husband was doing grad work and now that he's finished with school and they're broke I'm guessing they will be staying put. She's one of those people that give New Yorkers a bad name.

Only people from NYC have a bad name in the rest of the country.

My ex-wife used to make me stay up with the babies after coming home from a 14-hour shift so that she could sleep in. That's one of the reasons she's my ex-wife.

Mine's on his way to being a potential ex. My sister has the NYC arrogance without ever having lived there.

Ouch. I don't know your situation, but I can speak from experience and say that raising kids alone is challenging, but not all that terrible. I raised my 2 from the ages of 1 and 2 and it wasn't all that bad.

Mine are almost 12, 6, and 3. He's a good dad in that he provides fun, but as far as basics like cooking, bathing, putting to bed, etc. he's absolute rubbish.

I don't think I'd be exaggerating if I were to say that I changed 80% of the diapers and provided 75% of the care for my kids while holding down a job in the Army. Some people are just lazy.
