S1 was on Virgin Media so I re-watched it after seeing it when it was first broadcast in 2009. Since then, my now nonegenerian MIL has been in and out of NHS hospitals and it's so bloody true. I was chuckling all the way through. Small winder a really dark sense of humour is required to deal with such stuff.
