Honestly, ANYTHING is possible...

The last couple of days I've been going through the extras on the The Office Series 2 and Christmas Specials DVDs. There were making of documentaries, stuff about the Golden Globes and the like and it struck me very strongly that you never quite know how life will turn out. The lives of everyone that worked on that show were utterly transformed by those 14 episodes.

It's like the secret Santa gift from Tim to Dawn. She was being told to forget about illustrating because she wasn't any good by fiancé Lee but Tim gave her paints with a card that implored her to 'Never give up'. None of us should - we just have to believe.

Gervais was around 40 by the time it all kicked off for him despite having a brush with fame before that. He's found the promised land and good luck to him. Even if you don't like the guy, we should take inspiration from his success.

Or maybe we'll all get run over by a speeding bus tomorrow.

Deep!

I always like that scene in Fight Club where Tyler holds a gun to the head of those passers by and makes them assess whether they're making the most of their lives. I know I'm not.

Aw! Bless you Tuumble.

I agree.

I'm becoming increasingly interested in the overall impact of - well, not positive thinking, but at least positive being. :)

Who invited Noel Edmonds?

The universe, allegedly.

I am literally in love with Ricky Gervais, yes I am male, and yes I am straight.

I like Noel. After that man selfishly died on that grossly irresponsible TV show he had, he dusted himself off and bounced back with Noel's House Party. There's a lesson there for us all.

If one examines comedy, one is faced with a choice: either reject the chuckle or conclude that a frown is merely a non-vocal social comment.

To be honest, I'd be more surprised if you were a woman or gay.

Are we now on Noel - The 'Mr Blobby' Years?

No. We are on an abundance of theories concerning a onomatopoeic non-rhyming paradigm of expression that includes narratology as a whole.

Ah, right... Duncan Norvelle.

You sir, are a cut above the rest - and no, I did not misspell 'cut'.
