The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion

Perhaps the most under-rated band of the last 20 years or so. Plastic Fang and Orange are particularly strong albums.

Yes. Great band.

One of those bands I keep meaning to go and see.

I saw them in London at the new marquee a few years ago.

Prefer pussy galore/boss hog though

I saw Pussy Galore in birmingham in 1986/7.

Because of their name, particularly the 'Explosion' bit, too much may have been expected of them. If they were called, 'The Jon Spencer Blues Quite Loud Bang' they could be up there with Pink Floyd.

I prefer Curse These Metal Hands. Now there was a band.
