I think she's very funny, and the Channel Swimmer documentary was great poignant spoof documentary decades before The Office.

What was the one with the old man buying "spaghetti 'oops"? I've referred to them as spaghetti opps, ever since.

I know which one you mean. Very funny, although I couldn't tell you any more about it. Has the complete Victoria Wood On TV been released on DVD yet? Seems a shocking oversight if it hasn't.

Hurrah! Still funny. This one too. Reminds of the sort of girls I went to school with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkTBwp_fDFY

Going on stand up performers I would say Victoria Wood.

Comedy actress? Joan Sims, Dawn French & Julie Walters - All different, all fantastic.

Julia Louis Dreyfuss, class act.

I've probably already said this, but for writers and performers it's Julia Davis and Caroline Aherne.

And I like Katherine Parkinson. She's top 'ole.

Catherine Tate.

For me, being an oldie . . Irene Handl

Comedienne - I quite like that Sue Perkins actually
Comedy actress - Jane Horrocks

Dame Edna

As far as comedy actresses are concerned, Sarah Chalke from Scrubs is probably top.
