Finally, I'm into Seinfeld Page 7

Mackinaw Peaches
The abstinence one (where they bet that they can go the longest without any self pleasure) I think they won an Emmy for this episode if memory serves me correctly, if memory serves me correctly, if memory serves me correctly.
Ocean - where Kramer thinks Calvin Klein have stolen his concept of a fragrance that smells like the sea. Many many more. But these for starters.

"The Contest".

Yup, the abstinence one, like I said ;)

The one where Kramer hangs out with White Supremacists in order to get court-side tickets for 'The Knicks'?

'The Good Samnaritan' episode where the voice of the newsreader caused Kramer to have seizures was a great one

Eh, not quite. Jerry and George are at the airport and decide to "steal" a limo ride from one of those guys who holds up the sign saying "Mister So and So", when they hear the man getting the limo has been delayed in Chicago. Turns out to be a white supremacist's limo on the way to a rally which happens to be next to the knicks arena, and they pick up kramer and elaine along the way.

What you need to know about Seinfeld is that Larry David stopped writing for it after season 7 and so seasons 8 and 9 are drastically different. While still funny, the show changed completely, introducing tons of bizarre outlandish plot lines such as Kramer moving to LA and becoming mistaken for a serial killer. Before that it was much more in the style of Curb your Enthusiasm, about day to day life and the neuroticisms of the main characters.

I suppose Seinfeld is not seen nearly as much in the UK. In the USA and Canada you could probably watch about 10 episodes every day if you really tried. It's on multiple channels every day at many different times. Having grown up with it here I've seen every episode probably a dozen or more times over the years.

I would never really compare it in style to Curb myself, the two shows are really quite different in style, tone and execution to my eyes. I also don't think the show changed completely after David left. Sure, the silly was upped, but Seinfeld had been getting gradually more silly and exploring ever more outlandish ideas as each series went by anyway. Perhaps, rather than the gradual incline that had been experienced before, David leaving led to a more noticable hop upwards into silly, but I don't see that as a bad thing.

I personally enjoy the last two series of Seinfeld every bit as much as what went before. With or without Larry David it was a genius sitcom.

The one where Kramer hangs out court-side at 'The Knicks' in order to racially abuse them? And the fat one with the glasses does a big poo in the locker room?

Ironically I was thinking today how massively stodged and fat my wallet has become, not unlike George Costanza's.

Lucky you. Mine only has any bulk at all because of my extensive collection of (unused) condoms.

It's not money, it's shite like train tickets and miscellaneous credit/debit cards and three USB sticks.

Hold up, you've got your chronology wrong there.

The serial killer episode, although written by the excellent Larry Charles, is actually the two-part opener to Season 4.

Although your point is correct, Seasons 8 and 9 are very big and sitcommy, and while it's a very different direction, it's still bloody glorious in my view.
