Is that before, during, or after you give his helmet a spit-polish?

I'm the boss so I won't be doing that.
Whatever happened to the newsletter? Hmmmm?
We've been busy. They should be returning in the new year.
Thanks, Aaron.
And hip hooray for the return.
Thanks for pulling this up, Ben.
Steve this is flicking excellent! x 1000

Cheers for noticing Ben. They take a bit of time to produce and, as Aaron says, time has been a bit on the short-side these last couple of months. They'll be coming weekly again in the New Year for sure (the first one announcing our awards voting is open)... but I'm actually hoping to get one out this Sunday with a summary of the comedy highlights on TV this Christmas.
I'd sign up for this, but you've got one of those outdated (pre-2001) email verification scripts that rejects any top-level domain with more than three characters in it. So no .info, etc. Check your regex!

Oops. Well it's partly your fault for picking an awkward email address Anyway, can you try again now Kevin - hopefully that should be fixed now: https://www.comedy.co.uk/newsletters/

Wow, now that's what I call service.
I hate regex so much. Why does it have to be so damned useful yet so fecking hard to remember. I'm back to the manual every single time.
Quote: Griff @ December 8 2009, 7:03 PM GMTOooh listen to Jeffrey Friedl here!
Quote: Griff @ December 10 2009, 12:10 AM GMTRegex is basically unmanageable once you get beyond anything simple. I'd rather read ten lines of code then one line full of $$.*^&! etc.
My thoughts exactly! Much of the time I just get them working through trial and error without really knowing what I've done. It's a powerful engine of course but it could really use some simplifying, somehow!
I've written a book on the subject...

Is this true or one of them jokes?
When I Googled Jeffrey Friedl, to make sure he wasn't a cannibal serial killer or something, I discovered he'd written a book on it.
