It's over-rated anyway.
Don't say such things!
Even though they are slightly true.
But true love is nice, I'm sure!
All loves fade...
I fell off a ski jump once in the 1980s and broke my arm.
Had a cunning plan, sit on a bin bag and slide down the jump, was so pissed I really thought I would fly gracefully through the air like a ski jumper. Flew about 2 feet then just fell to the ground. That didn't break my arm though, it was all my mates behind me falling on top me. Got arrested for trespassing too.

This was on a flat surface as well, I some ways I am in awe of Rube's ability to fall over, and to be fair once suitable stiffled we both offered her a hand to help her up.

Is there any other type...?
Really long trousers?
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ July 3 2009, 9:16 PM BSTStupidest falling over I've had was on a big hill behind a friend's house. We were walking and I fell over, with no clue of how. Elliot was on the phone and turned round, and I was on the floor in hysterics. To this day, none of us have a clue what happened!
He pushed you.

C'mon, Aaron, you remember shorts. We used to wear them in the Hitler Youth?
Shorts aren't trousers.
I think they are, Aaron, there's a subtle clue in the name.
But if you prefer - lederhosen, footer-bags, hotpants... We wore them all whilst performing our Aryan folk songs. You, me, the Pope...

Cropped, ankle-grazers... I could go on....
In Cambridge, I ascended the church tower of Great St. Mary's, to enjoy the view - which turned out to be obscured by a wire mesh fence, erected for safety reasons. Cut into the fence were viewing windows, at a height which required the installation of a wooden platform around the circumference of the tower, about two foot high and two foot wide. I absent-mindedly stepped back off the platform, instinctively put out my hand out to save myself, and fractured my wrist - which has never healed properly. So that was a health and safety triumph.
Quote: SlagA @ July 4 2009, 11:49 AM BSTI'm always falling over but I have a suspicion I've been suffering from vertigo since my teens.
Do you know what, that might be my problem. I've always been prone to ear infections and dizziness. The weird thing is though I've skated (ice and roller) a lot and never once fallen over.
