the second one's better, but they're both good. It's hard to shake the sense of fatigue that overtakes one when reading 'fictional' journalism, however.

I agree with Godot on all counts. Hello Godot 
The second one had a couple of great LOLs with the Russian translation and the final line. Jacko one maybe missed an opportunity or two like dangling the kid out of the window (but there are so many Jacko things it would be impossible to include every opportunity).

I know what you mean about the fatigue of reading fictional journalism. I've read about 20 or so in the past week and they've definitely lost their impact.
