Favourite Michael Jackson Song Page 3

I loved him in some kind of puppydog/complete adoration way when I was little, late '80s, early '90s era.

I remember being very ickle, showing these punks in the pub my parents ran my dance to Micheal Jacksons Bad and them loving it!

The Jackson 5 stuff was way better than MJ's solo stuff, and 'Life of the Party' is possibly my favourite of their songs.

By the way, as I've said before on here, the dance move that 99% of people think is called the Moonwalk, is really called the Backslide, and MJ didn't invent it. In fact, there's a clip of someone doing it on YouTube, from back in about 1932! The Moonwalk is another move that involoves the dancer moving around in a circle, rather than backwards.

I remember him from MTV when I was a kid, about 5 and beyond, so about 1990?

He's Black He's White. So prophetic! Man in the Mirror actually.

Ben - you just don't get great songs written about rats anymore.

No, no you don't Teary ...

My mum's friend at school thought it'd be funny to play that on a sewing machine, and she was managing it...until she went through her hand. >_<

Laughing out loud brilliant

Crazy Horses is a fantastic track. Whistling nnocently See, I'm even whistling it now.

Hold on...that was The Osmonds wasn't it?

Eew, yes that was the Osmonds in their white fringe jumpsuits. Very scary, they looked like a bunch of capped teeth Elvis impersonators.

I don't know much about the Osmonds, but I do know that the only one of their songs that I actually liked, was first offered to the Jackson 5, but they turned down the chance to record it. That sort of puts the two groups into perspective really.

Yes it does. Sad.

I think Scream is probably my favourite Jackson song, post-Jackson 5. I've never understood how the video ended up costing $7 million though. Apparently it's still the most expensive video ever made.

There's nothing wrong with buggering boys.

Is that the song/video he did with Janet? I had one of those spikey jumpers they wore in the video, until I washed it too much and it was more humpy than spikey.

Yeah, that's the one. I don't like it enough to go out and buy it, but it's still pretty good. Smooth Criminal would probably be my second choice.
