I genuinely do think they try and be accomodating to the writer, and bring their vision to the screen. Of course whether that vision is worth bringing to the screen is another matter.

I'm not saying they all do it or that it's done to ruin it. I'm just saying it sadly happens and when it does, the writer suffers.

Unfortunately, budgetary constraints mean there's only one online police officer.
