My all time favourite is Status Quo however Prince does rate high in my books.
Prince's best album Page 2
Sign of the Times is a staggeringly good single. It piddles on his more famous stuff.
Singles; 1999, When Doves Cry, Purple Rain, Kiss and Sign Of the Times.
I'm not so keen on his albums.

What about the 'Quo' doing a Batman sound track. It'd be bloody brilliant.
And 'Nothing Compares to you' was brilliant but as done by Sinead 'the nun' O'Connor.
Purple Rain.
I agree on his albums being patchy too. Though I do like all the tracks where he goes a bit nutty apeshit on the guitar - he's one hell of a player. His performance at the Brits (a couple of years back now?) was phenomenal and blew everyone else off the stage. He still has it.
Prince is an artist that has completely passed me by. I don't know why, but embarrassingly, I could only name half a dozen of his songs if tested.
And from the ones I do know, there's not a bad song amongst them.
I do like a bit of Prince. My flatmate got me the film Graffiti bridge from the YMCA shop for 50p two years ago!!!
Going for 20P
I like that Raspberry Beret song.
The only song I remember ever being actually released during my lifetime* was Diamonds and Pearls back when I was a kid, it was good though.
(*Obviously there must have been others, I'm not 10, but I don't remember them at all.)
I have the Batman soundtrack and a copy of 'The Best Of', but that's it.
1999 is a great party album
I first got into Prince's music back when I heard the funky-as-f**k Sax-driven Girls and Boys, from the film Under the Cherry Moon. Other songs of his that I like are Raspberry Beret, Alphabet Street, Cream, Emancipation, Pretty Man, Musicology and Black Sweat.
I can't say I like any Prince.
Not even Harry? I suppose you're right, he is a ginge.
>_<

Michael Jackson?
Michael Jackson jr (aka Fitted Sheet)?
