I found out a little earlier that Alexis Arguello comitted suicide today, one of my favourite boxers of all-time. Awful, sad news. A truly great fighter and inspirational man too, sad that another true great of the game gone. I don't think there is a fighter who was as universally a favourite among avid boxing fans as Alexis was, certainly not many if any.
Still numb from hearing this. Truely tragic circumstances. The 2nd article is particularly sad.
