Help with Stand-Up

I am looking for my birthday to go see some comedy, unfortuantly don't know much about new comedians, which of the shows on my birthday Listed Here would people recommend seeing?

D

Daniel Kitson or Sean Lock and Reginald K Amos.

Comedy Store Players is a great night out but not "Stand-Up".

I'd agree wholeheartedly with Dolly on those.
3 of my all time favourite comics.

When I clicked on the link I noticed that the girl on the top is Dobby from Peep show.
I'd be interested to see her doing stand up sometime.

Sean Lock is very good, he is one of the most quick witted comedians I have seen.

I saw Reginald at the 'Glee club' in birmingham, a couple of years back as the headline act.

He started off great, but ended it on his arse after talking about fingering a lady in a cupboard. Very embarassing.

Issy Sutie.

I've only seen her the once about 2 years ago. She was supporting Josie Long and, because she had a guitar, I wasn't looking forward to it! But she was good, I enjoyed her stuff about her mum's letters a lot. She might be a tad twee for some tastes though. She is also a wee bit reminiscient of Victoria Wood.

She was also a performer on Tilt!. It was weird hearing her saying lines I'd written, on...ahem...couple of occasions. :)

What lines were these Dolly? any good?

Daniel Kitson, provided it's one of his standup shows. Sheer natural genius.

Well, I was paid and credited for them!

They were topical sketches.
