Michael Jackson RIP Page 11

Shame on them for pimping their kids out.

I loved Michael's music. That is all.

I wonder if they'll turn Neverland into a kind of Graceland.

That's what Aaron said yesterday.
I'd go!

I'm confused (as usual). Was he really a musician? A singer is not a musician, unless he was a whiz on Fisher-Price's My First Xylophone?

We had a boy at school who nearly got kicked out because he went to meet Michael Jackson during school time. People are really devoted, and it's just remarkable how much of an impact he made.

I actually have no idea if he played instruments and wrote songs.

I think he at least wrote some of his songs. But have no clue if it was all of them.

I don't think he played on his records, but he did write and co-write his material, and obviously helped construct and arrange the songs.

A few years ago he was in Exeter. Uri Geller owns Exeter football club and they were selling tickets for just £10 to see him at the grounds. A lot of people didn't buy a ticket because hardly anyone believed it was real and he'd show up but he did.

Yeh I've seen them on TV. Pretty pathetic in my opinion. I mean I thought Cliff Richard was great but when he died did you see me whinging?

Jackson was found not guilty, I don't think he was guilty of those crimes. I think his father is to blame for what went wrong in his life. Michael didn't have a childhood, certainly not an enjoyable one, he was working his ass off at the age of 5. Maybe in a strange way he was making up for lost time when he was older.

Yes, he was quite strange, but not paedophile strange. One thing I do think he was, was very naive about how his actions could be looked upon by others, which is why he ended up in trouble. The parents of the children he used to hang out with then saw an opportnuity to make themselves rich, so decided to cash in on that by reporting MJ for assault against children.

Yes, that's what I've always said. People (especially the religious nut jobs in the US) are threatened and scared of anyone and anything remotely different. That's the root of it all.

It always did seem odd to me that the kid's parents who accused him in the nineties accepted money in an out of court settlement. If someone had fiddled about with a kid of mine, it wouldn't matter how much money he was willing to offer, which is why that has the whiff of blackmail about it.

Indeed, indeed. All pretty unbelievable, and quite frankly, too 'convenient'.

What was the last thing we had you believing...? *tries to think back*

Gutted.

Jackson claimed he didn't have plastic surgery, so his denials about his strange behavior with young boys is suspect, in my opinion.
